In coordination with the Department of Education (DepEd) and MaryLindbert International (MLB), Fortune Life held the first Zoom Teaching Orientation and Demonstration (TOD) as part of our Values Advocacy Program last November 21, 2020 which was participated by more than 450 teachers nationwide.
As guest speaker, the Consultant to K to 12 Curriculum Development and PRC Board OF Professional Teachers Dr. Paraluman Giron discussed the remote socio-emotional teaching and learning followed by a sample demo-teaching conducted via Zoom. At the last part of the TOD, Fortune Life AVP-North and Central Luzon Sales Alvin Perez discussed financial literacy beginning with Filipino mentality in handling finances and how to save at this time of pandemic. He also presented how Fortune Life can help teachers in their financial planning. The participants were very much elated given their new learnings and majority expressed their interest in getting to know more about the company’s offered plans.
Facilitated by MLB, Fortune Life will continue our Values Advocacy Program for the school year 2020-2021 by visiting selected schools upon confirmation of schedule from DepEd.
