Fortune Life launches Mobile App in the General Assembly


The pilot launching of Fortune Life PH, the company’s first mobile app was the highlight of August 27, 2021 General Assembly held via Zoom. Exciting prizes were given to the first 100 employees who downloaded the app and successfully registered while additional prizes were awarded to those who purchased a product using the app.

The program began with a welcome message from the EVP and General Manager, Ms. Emma M. Abad, conveying Management’s appreciation to all employees for their hard work and unwavering support to the company beginning with Marketing and Sales Division for their continued initiatives and sales efforts and Finance Division for managing the resources and ensuring the financials are on track. She expressed her gratitude to New Business, Customer Service, Data Management and Claims Departments for ensuring the smooth execution of management operations. Likewise, Actuarial Department was appreciated for their contribution to the continued development and enhancement of company products as well as Information Technology Department for their continued innovation and commitment to digitalization. She also thanked Executive Management Department for their sustained creation and implementation of effective internal and external communications, as well as to the HRM and Administration Departments for ensuring the health, well-being and safety of the employees.

EVP-GM Abad also encouraged everyone to get vaccinated not only for their own protection but also to prevent any serious complications from COVID-19 variants. She reiterated to strictly comply with the health and safety protocols to prevent further virus transmission in the workplace. Furthermore, management stated that despite the pandemic, our company is strong and secure, and that we will surpass this crisis and emerge stronger.

On the other hand, Ms. Carisa Angela C. de Mesa, AVP-HRM and Administration Departments led the presentation of Service Awardees in 2020 with corresponding cash incentives according to their years of service.
