Fortune Life supports Makati LGU’s campaign for COVID-19 Vaccination

As insurance companies’ employees are identified under A4 category or Frontline personnel in essential sectors, Fortune Life joined hands with Makati Local Government Unit (LGU) to open the registration for COVID-19 vaccination to its employees.

The current COVID-19 vaccines reduce risk of severe disease and risk of death, and are most suited for those with higher risk of exposure and death. The prioritization framework was established by the government to reduce mortality and to preserve the health system capacity of the country.

The priority list of employees for the A4 category on COVID-19 vaccine was already coordinated with Makati City LGU wherein Fortune Life has complied with all the requirements. The employees voluntarily registered online using their unique confirmation IDs provided by Makati LGU and disseminated by Fortune Life Human Resource and Management Department. As of June 24, 2021, a total of 102 employees out 196 NCR-based have already been vaccinated wherein 84 received their 1st dose and 18 already completed the two doses. The rest who registered online are still waiting for their confirmed schedule of vaccination.

As part of the workplace health and well-being program of the company, this COVID-19 vaccination serves as preventive measure against the spread of the virus while implementation of the health and safety protocols in the office premises will be continuously observed.
