Last October 30, Fortune Life held its First Virtual General Assembly (GA) for the employees via Zoom. This was the second GA for the year 2020.
After the inspiring message of the former EVP & General Manager, Mrs. Evelyn T. Carada, an appreciation video showing a compilation of her old photos and thank you messages from the officers and employees was presented. She also welcomed the newly appointed Acting EVP & General Manager, Ms. Emma M. Abad who had been with the company for more than three decades. The President, Mr. D. Arnold A. Cabangon reminded the employees to value their work and have a company owner-mindset.
Recognized during the General Assembly were the Life Office Management Association (LOMA) passers as follows under each LOMA course:LOMA 280: Erika Zaira L. Milante, John Michael M. Roncale and Jinky L. SarrocaLOMA 290: Jessica H. Dado, Winona Beatrice C. Garcia and Dialyn C. VillostasLOMA 301: Regina C. TabianLOMA 301: Warlou A. Bobis and Mary Rose F. MagpantayLOMA 320: Keivenlly Paul B. Joson who also earned his ALMI designation.
Cash incentives and congratulatory letters were awarded prior to the General Assembly by the Special Assistant to the President, Ms. Ambrocia G. Cancio and LOMA Educational Representative & AVP for Executive Management Department, Ms. Floreda C. Constantino together with the AVP for Finance Division, Ms. Geraldine B. Busia.
While, Dr. Nazario A. Macalintal, Jr. discussed the symptoms and hazards of COVID-19. He reiterated that proper hygiene was still the best way to prevent the virus from spreading as well as following proper protocols when going outside.
The employees were also informed of the new table of organization of the company and were asked for the full cooperation and support to the new management.
