FORTUNE LIFE KICKS OFF 2020 WITH ITS FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY


To raise awareness to its employees on the recent calamities and epidemics, Fortune Life kicked off 2020 with its first General Assembly last January 31, 2020 at Fortune Life Building, Makati City.

Dr. Nazario A. Macalintal, Jr. talked about the health hazards of volcanic ashes from Taal especially when inhaled. He also shared extensive information about the global outbreak of coronavirus disease or COVID-19 which originated in Wuhan, China. He said that proper hygiene is still the best way to prevent the virus from spreading.

Our EVP & General Manager, Ms. Evelyn T. Carada emphasized the significance of extending assistance to one another and paying gratitude to the people who always lend a helping hand. She also reminded everyone to start organizing their files and segregate old documents for disposal in preparation for the upcoming transfer to the temporary office situated 3 blocks from our head office (H.O.) to pave way to the construction of the new Fortune Life H.O. building.

Recognized during the General Assembly are Service Awardees whose tenure are more than 5 years in the company, Employee Awardees and those with perfect attendance for the year 2019. For the employee awards, three were named as follows: Elimar N. Amosco of Customer Service Division (CSD) as Model Employee of the Year; Caryl P. Deocampo of New Business Division (NBD) as Achiever of the Year and Gladys D. Guarin of Cabanatuan branch as Branch Employee of the Year. Each awardee received a certificate of recognition and cash prize equivalent to their one month salary.

Meanwhile, Life Office Management Association (LOMA) passers Elimar N. Amosco of CSD, Ryan Christopher B. Jacaban of Claims Department, Jenny M. Ibonia of NBD, Mary Rose F. Magpantay and Bianca B. Naguimbing of Finance Division received their Level-1 Certificates awarded by Mrs. Carada and Educational Representative & AVP for Executive Management Department Floreda C. Constantino.

To promote financial literacy among its workforce, Fortune Life opened a new enrolment season for Anticipated Pay Life with Endowment and FlexiLife Wealth Protector Plans to the employees and their families at a discounted premium through a convenient payment scheme which was discussed by Senior Manager for Worksite Benilda C. Lipayon.

Afterwards, a raffle was drawn and four lucky winners took home exciting prizes. Everyone enjoyed their free snacks and beverages which were given to all the participants.
